Seven county jails and hold rooms in Nebraska take people into federal immigration detention. This page traces the route — where Immigration and Customs Enforcement recorded the arrest, the Nebraska facility that held the person, the out-of-state facility they were transferred to, and the country they were removed to — for every detention stay since late 2022 that touched one of the seven facilities.
Each record is one continuous stay in detention, matched to the arrest that began it. A stay can pass through more than one jail; it is counted here if any part of it was in a Nebraska facility. The arrest is often recorded at a local jail or state prison, not on the street — see how the arrests happen.
